If you’ve found yourself connecting with the vision, the passion and the fantastic culture behind South Burnett Podiatry - then you will have glimpsed an insight into Katharine’s goals, her drive - and her heart. Committed to delivering exceptional care that goes above and beyond to her South Burnett community, Katharine is proud to be enabling her patients to stay active and mobile, do the things they love, and dream big.
When it comes to her own big dreams, South Burnett Podiatry is one of her biggest, and she describes her 2018 purchase of the practice “a dream come true”. To Katharine, each new patient is as important as the last, and she has ensured that the clinic has a solid foundation of respect, integrity, trust and genuine care.
Katharine loves working with a variety of different patients - from complex heel pain patients, to those needing skin & nail care or diabetes assessments, helping to keep each group safe, feeling their best, and ensuring they have the right information about their health.
Aside from her Podiatry education, Katharine also holds degrees in Health Studies and Business, has been an active Rotary member for a significant portion of her life, has completed the RYLA leadership programme - and enjoys using her skills and time to give back to people and her community - as well as set the bar for Podiatry in Kingaroy.
With an extensive background in sports podiatry across Queensland, Donna is proud to now be using her expertise in helping patients with their foot and leg problems here in South Burnett, which she has proudly called home for the past four years. Donna believes that everyone, at every age, deserves the chance to walk without pain and enjoy a healthy quality of life - and we couldn’t agree more!
When it comes to patient care, Donna is always looking to expand her wealth of knowledge and skill. Her current topics of interest are diabetes care and pediatric biomechanics. According to Donna, it’s often very simple changes to people's habits and movement that can make a very large difference to their pain levels - and their ability to achieve their health and lifestyle goals.
When Donna isn’t performing biomechanical assessments or excelling in her orthotic prescription, she is spending time with her husband and two daughters in the community that she adores.
Janelle is our hardworking and lovely receptionist & admin assistant. She’s been part of the South Burnett Podiatry team for a number of years and has consistently gone above and beyond for our team and patients. She does an incredible job of ensuring each person that walks through our doors is warmly welcomed and treated with the utmost respect and courtesy - and we’re very grateful to have her on the team!
Janelle is a real ‘people person’ and thrives in the friendly and caring atmosphere of our clinic. She has a special interest in the shoe sales aspect of the clinic, being a massive shoe-lover herself! She understands the challenges that people face with finding footwear when they’re having pains and problems with their feet, and always takes the time to listen to their needs and find them a perfect solution that is supportive, comfortable, and promotes their foot health.
Kerry has been an integral part of South Burnett Podiatry for many years - and even with two separate owners! She is proud to be part of a caring, friendly and professional culture that is full of integrity, and where clients and staff members become more like friends and family.
Kerry enjoys the support from the South Burnett Podiatry team, the variety of the workload, and the calm and caring atmosphere that is felt as soon as you set foot on the premises. Kerry’s expertise and enthusiasm is greatly valued and appreciated!
Kylie’s philosophy is very much the same as that of South Burnett Podiatry - she believes in getting to know each patient, building long-lasting relationships, and doing her best to help each patient feel heard and supported. Kylie understands from personal experience how hard life can get when your feet or legs are in pain, and the difference that great podiatry care can make to a person’s wellbeing. She loves helping people achieve better health - and so is a perfect fit for the team.
Kylie also holds a degree in Languages and Applied Linguistics, majoring in French. Having lived in France and America, she brings many great skills, cultural experience and genuine values to the team. Outside of work, Kylie’s life orientates around her family, and she loves participating in local theatre productions.
